Not anymore it isn't. Been shut for a few years and was used as a squat and drug dealing till the local council had it cleared and shut down.
Builders or Carpenters are probably the nearest and most football type boozers. Queens Head is another.

I will probably have a coffee and a roast beef baguette with my mother at markses before she goes off to do her shopping. I don't think the pub experience will suit the OS so will save that for away games. Shame but those baguettes are very good

Corbon Arms was too far and beardy
all the new OSers will just hang out at Westfield, shop and drink there and then ask the way to the stadium

its true. ive done a painstaking tour of every boozer in the vicinity.
depends what you want and where youre coming from.
stratford way its the builders and carpenters.
from mile end/ bow its the wentworth or the bow bells.
if youre coming from old ford road its the morpeth or the eleanor arms.
hackney wick is bar 90, Crate, the plough or howling hops, but thats going to get tasty with some of the hipster knobs in there
if youre using stratford international there's neibourhood or tap east.
just dont boother @secretpub or @truribclub
